The central authorities released a revised list of universities and disciplines included in the "double world-class project" .

Xiamen University (XMU) has been selected as one of the second round of "double world-class" universities, and six disciplines in XMU, including Education, Chemistry, Marine Science, Biology, Ecology and Statistics, have entered the list of "double world-class" disciplines.
